The Ford Puma was first launched in 1997 and was the second model to benefit from the New Edge design ethos and discontinued in 2002.

The Ford Puma has a choice of engines, 1.4i 16V (89bhp) the 1.6i 16V (101bhp) (launched 2000) and the 1.7i 16V (123bhp) with a close-ratio gearbox and traction control.

The Puma is comfortable for front passengers but less practical for rear, the interior is well finished and has standard Ford switchgear and a good sporty driving position which is helped by the sports seats which are supportive and comfortable.

Equipment includes traction control, alloy wheels, chrome tailpipe, body coloured bumpers/mirrors/door handles, adjustable three-spoke leather-trim steering wheel, split/fold rear seat, RDS radio/cassette and sports seats with electric height adjustment on the driver’s seat and 17" alloy wheels.

The Ford Puma was never crash-tested by Euro NCAP, but includes a driver's airbag and ABS (except the 1.4 misses). Security includes a standard alarm and immobiliser.

Servicing is every 10,000 miles with 1 year manufacturers warranty and 6 years body work warranty .
